Publicizing to Facebook

  I have a blog at http://crowlas-ludgvanwi.org.uk (a domain name I purchased that is liked to http://crowlasludgvanwi.wordpress.com). When I publicize an entry to Facebook, it works but the permalink provided on FB is the WordPress one, not the domain name I purchased. How can I fix this?

  1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/

  2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

  Thanks for the suggestions, but things still aren’t right. I did the full reconnect procedure, but nothing changed. I also used the FB Debugger mentioned in your first suggestion – when I enter ‘www.crowlas-ludgvanwi.org.uk’ in the box, it tells me that Facebook “could not receive data from URL.”

  Do you have any idea why that might be happening?
