Hi Geoff,
It looks like some of your posts may include too many images, which is causing the Publicize connection with Facebook to fail. I’m unable to see how posts are appearing on your Facebook page when they are Publicized. Could you take a screenshot of the Facebook post without an accompanying image and upload it to your Media Library?
Instructions for taking a screenshot can be found here:

I’ve added two FB link screenshots to my Media Library, one successful (Cuzco) and one unsuccessful (Amazon).

Hey Geoff,
Thanks for the screenshots. It looks like the Amazon post is too large to be Publicized to Facebook, which is why it looks entirely different. I’m running this by our developers to see if anything can be done. I’ll get back with you as soon as I know more!

Hi Geoff,
You can still Publicize your blog to Facebook. The issue appears to be only occurring with posts that have large galleries and include tons of images. We don’t have a solution for those posts as of yet. In the meantime, you should still have success with smaller posts (in terms of size). You will need to manually publish larger posts to Facebook.
I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information on how/if the large post error is resolved!

Yep – that’s exactly what I’m seeing now, but before I didn’t get the thumbnail or the text. Something seems to have been fixed – not sure if it’s at the Facebook end or WordPress end, but it’s fine now, thanks.

Great Geoff! I just confirmed with our developers that the best solution right now is to manually share the larger articles. However, we’re working on some revamps that should help to correct the issue in the future (no timetable just yet).
