Publicizing to tumblr has stopped

I noticed that automatic publicizing to tumblr seems to have gone haywire on my blogs some time ago. Sharing to tumblr works though. Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong there?
I’ve made some changes on the blogs lately, but I’m pretty sure that was a while later, plus nothing I can think of that would’ve affected both equally. Would be grateful for any adviceThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Waht do you mean by “gone haywire” and can you give specific examples? Please try disconnecting your blogs from Tumblr and then reconnecting. Let us know if the issues still occur when you next post.

I mean my wordpress posts from the last month or so haven’t shown up there for the most part. Except for a few, which I think that may have been ones that I didn’t schedule, but published directly, but I’m not absolutely sure about that.
I already tried dis- and reconnecting (sorry, I should’ve mentioned). Doesn’t seem to have made a difference.
Specifically, for example this post is set to be publicized on tumblr, but it’s not.

I’ve been noticing this with at least one of my sites as well. (The other is weekly so I haven’t noticed anything.)

This could possibly be a bug in the system.

Thanks for reporting that problem! I tested and I can publicize posts to Tumblr, so there isn’t a system-wide issue, but something is going wrong when you try to publicize your blog posts there. I reported the issue to our team so they can investigate that, and I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information about that!

Thank you very much. I’ll keep an eye on this topic.
I am a bit concerned about what will happen when it gets fixed. I would not want for all the posts, that were originally set to get publicized, to suddenly go out to tumblr all at once.

Update: The “refresh your connection to Tumblr” thing is up but after approving the refresh request is still coming up. And I’ve tried a bunch of times.

Our team tracked down the cause of these Tumblr issues and just launched a fix. Please let me know if you have any further trouble with publicizing your posts on Tumblr. :)

I just posted four articles over the course of the day, one written and scheduled AFTER this announcement, the others before. None of them posted to Tumblr. i don’t know if this affects my weekly site, but bwmedia.com still isn’t updating to Tumblr.

Can you please try disconnecting and reconnecting your Tumblr connection (in your Sharing settings)? We’re getting a different error for your blog than before, and refreshing that connection now may fix it.

Thank you for your efforts. Unfortunately today’s scheduled posts on both my blogs weren’t shared to tumblr either. (I dis- and reconnected both blogs about an hour before these posts were due after reading the latest message here.)
Also, the two last posts on sinisterkey seem to be missing the Share button.

Sorry that didn’t fix it! We’re getting a different error from Tumblr now, so something else is going on. I reported the issue to our team to investigate and will let you know when I have more details.
Also, the two last posts on sinisterkey seem to be missing the Share button.
The sharing buttons are disabled on both of those posts individually. You can enable them again by editing each post and checking the box next to “Show sharing buttons” there. Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

Thank you. I’ve reenabled them on those as well as on a couple of scheduled ones. So no immediate problems in that regard, but it’s a bit puzzling since that option is checked by default, if I’m not mistaken, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t uncheck it on these posts.

Almost a half hour has passed since I posted my latest article (7 PM ET) and there is still no automatic Tumblr post. (I waited until RSS caught up.) I had to use the share link on the page.

Thanks for those updates. Our developers haven’t had a chance to investigate the new error that Tumblr is sending for your posts — I’ll let you know as soon as I know more!

You probably knew this already, but just in case: There’s been no changes on my blogs. (Things Beyond Z, Sinister Key) Both still don’t automatically publicize to tumblr.
