  I have 9 saved drafts. I NEED to publish for class. I keep getting the ‘resend email’ note. But I click the button and I can still draft but not post. HELP!! The semester is almost over!

  It sounds like your account hasn’t been activated yet, which needs to happen before you can publish posts. WordPress.com sends an email to the email account you provided when signing up. It’s possible that the email went into your spam filter. Have a look there. If you use Gmail or Google Apps, please have a look at this support page for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

  Did you use the correct email? You can check it at account settings. If the email is incorrect, update it and click the Save Account Settings button. There’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address.

  If neither of the above solve the problem, add “modlook” to the tags of this forum thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.
