publish a new post when I keep getting a "unknown blog" error

When using http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ make sure that you select a blog from the drop-down menu to the left of the “Publish Post” button.

My problem is that the post just won’t publish. The publish button keeps spinning really fast like it’s going to publish and then just doesn’t…this has been going on for 2 days now. What do I do??

Having the same problem as “myinsolence”. The publish icon keeps spinning but the post never publishes. From all of the comments here, this sounds like a site problem unrelated to browser updates (which for most users are set to update automatically). Please have your technical people look at this problem.
