Publish and Update buttons not working for posts

For many weeks now the Update and the Publish buttons do not work for my Exploratory Blog. In order to publish, I have to do a quick edit and change it from draft to published. If I want to edit the post, I can’t b/c the update button won’t work. I thought that this matter would just ‘fix itself’ in time, but the problem is not going away. Thank you for your help.

Hey there,
Can you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, then see if the problem persists? If so, can you let me kno what browser and operating system version you’re using?

Yes I did try this, clearing the browser cache and cookies. I’m using mozilla, updated recently. I use windows 7, updated recently. I work for Indiana University Bloomington so all of our computers use the latest software and are updated frequently. I have the 34 bit system. Thanks for your help.
