  This is general question about editing.

  Say i open a published post to edit and after a while i decide to discard all the changes. Is there a ‘button’ to do so? I suppose i can click undo repeatedly but it doesn’t seem to be straightforward or clear cut enough. And i seem to see that WP provides autosave – can i discard that as well?

  You can usually restore an earlier version of a post.
