publish immediately goes to scheduled

@idasateroy since your issue seems to have somewhat different systems, I’ll get in touch with you via ticket for more information to see if we can duplicate what you’re seeing. Thanks!

@supernovia, just FYI, I am back in the states and just published a post on my blog with no problems and no infernal “scheduled” message. So it either has something to do with geographical issues (I was wondering if there might be some kind of server delay in Europe?) or, more likely, something hinky going on with the laptop I was using (a Macbook Air) and its internal clock setting somehow overriding the “Publish Immediately” command.
Hope you can solve the mystery.

@polloplayer , can you click your clock icon, open Date and Time preferences, click on Timezone, and tell me whether you have checked the auto-adjust by current location option?
-
@supernovia sorry to be so late in responding to this.
I am looking at Timezone and Date Format in General Settings. I don’t see an actual clock icon.
My timezone is set to Los Angeles, which may have been the problem, because the way I solved it was to manipulate the UTC timezone that showed up in the “scheduled” post.
Is there a way to just have the timezone change automatically to where you are? -

Kind of. We don’t auto-adjust the time zone based on location, but your computer might be doing just that.
So when I referenced the clock icon, I meant the one on your computer. The “icon” may simply be the current time. You should be able to find out if it’s adjusting automatically. Can you look to see whether it is?
