“Publish” on strike?

  The publish function seems to be on strike. Nothing happens when you hit the publish button? What should we do?

  This time I got the following message:

  408 Request Time-out
  This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.

  I just tried to publishing from Qumana but it also said “time out”…

  OOPS! Cancel that because I just tried the link and saw the hours have changed to Normal support hours are Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM Pacific Time

  I doubt that you are but what do I know? This: Litespeed is the server software the official WP sites use instead of Apache; it’s recommended on their requirements page and Codex.

  Actually it saves the post as a draft without publishing it as is should. Edit post stamp did not work. I tried that in order to bypass the problem.
