Publish problem seems solved with option Edit

  Now when I click “Publish” I get a WordPress message “Are you sure you want to edit this post?” If I click no, the post is saved as a draft. If I click yes, it is published. This does solve the publish problem (clicking publish randomly either secretly saves the post and doesn’t publish, or shows it as saved and doesn’t publish, or shows it as saved and also publishes it, or just publishes it). So far clicking “yes” to the “want to edit” makes Publish work. But it does seem like a bit of a workaround.

  BTW: what happened yesterday? Just curious. Glad it got fixed, whatever it was.

  I get that message sometimes too. I don’t know why though.

  The “Are You Sure” messages can sometimes be caused by an erroneous browser cookie or something weird in your browser’s cache. I would recommend clearing both of these things and see if that resolves the issue.
