“Publish” promp

    Too many times at the crack of dawn I’ve hit the “Publish” key istead of “save” and inadvertantly sent out into the world an unfishinished blog post. My wife suggests that before I hit any of the keys, I should take a deep breath and say five Hail Marys. But I’m wondering if WordPress could not simply add a feature wherein a box would pop up when you hit “Publish” asking, “are you sure you want to publish this?”

    In the meantime, I have an idea that might help you – you could create a second account for yourself on your blog that had the status of “contributor”:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

    As users with this status can’t publish posts automatically, they have to be reviewed first.
