Published a post and "nothing found" won't go away

    Hey everyone.
    I have recently started my blog and in my customizing settings I clicked at “Static Front Page” and clicked on “Show Latest Posts”.
    Afterwards I published my first blog post (not page) and it shows up at my static front page EXCEPT for the fact that BELOW the preview of my latest posts is a fat line and below that it still says “Nothing Found. Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.”

    I have no idea what I did wrong, I just want my latest posts to fill out my entire front static page.

    I really hope someone can help me with my problem!
