published blog not displayed

blog has been published, works well in my dashboard. Although it has been published in several categories, it won’t show up in these categories when I browse them. What`’s wrong?
-
I have found your blog http://dioptrienotto.wordpress.com/
I clicked every category at the end of your first post and all directed me back to your blog and not to the wordpress.com tag pages. I clicked all the categories in your sidebar and once again I was directed to posts on your blog and not to thw rodpress.com category pages. Is this what you are referring to?

Well the bad news is that you need staff help to address this.
The addition of tags along with categories has all of us confused. I assumed that clicking on a category at the beginning or end of a post would still take us to the wordpress.com tag pages. I also assumed that clicking on a category in the sidebar would always take us to posts within the blog. With the introduction of tagging now I do not know what is going on and many other bloggers are likewise confused. This apparently is varying from theme to theme.
The good news is that staff do monitor these forum threads and may assist you once they read this.
If you do not get help today then you can use this link to contact staff tomorrow during support hours http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
Best wishes for a happy ending. :)

While eating lunch I thought of something that you should check on your blog – privacy settings. -> Options -> Privacy
rivacy Options
Blog visibility:
____ I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com.
—I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors
—I would like my blog to be visible only to users I chooseIf you make the first choice then your blog posts should be appearing on the wordpress.com tag pages under the categories you assigned to them and in order of the date/timestamps on them. Please confirm your setting is the correct one and then click “Update Options” to save.
-
And if you set them to autopost, there’s a bug where they don’t show up on tag pages or Most Recently Updated, etc, until they’ve been edited. Edit all your autoposts after they go up; it doesn’t matter what edits you make. Just do something.
-
FYI, autopost = setting the timestamp on a blog post to the future, then clicking publish. The post will automatically post when that future time occurs instead of immediately.

Sort of off-topic as TT has already solved this, but it might be useful for future reference. You can tell whether somebody’s blog has been set to block search engines by viewing source and looking for this code in the header:
<meta name='robots' content='noindex,nofollow' />In this case, it had.
