Published content is no longer visible

Website on free wordpress plan was published several months ago. I haven’t worked or looked at site since as it is a project for a company not ready to go live for several months. I tried to access today, but all content is gone. It has a last published date of July 11, 2024 (which is the date I bought the domain).
How can I restore my content? They only provide human assistance if I am on a paid plan. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello @bobsilverman516! Thanks for letting us know about this.
To help you better, could you please share the domain name of your site where you are encountering this issue? Also, it would be helpful if you could provide a bit more information about the missing content you’re seeing and where you bought the domain you mentioned.
Once I have more details, I’ll be in a better position to help you further.
Looking forward to your reply!

I appreciate the quick response.
The domain is marketpositionresearch.com, which was purchased from namecheap on July 11, 2024 and renewed through July 11, 2026.
It looks like everything was rolled back to the day I purchased the domain and initially set up the wordpress account as the last published date is July 11, 2024. It just looks like the default template that is provided on account activation.
I have published many iterations of the site since then, most recently probably 2 months ago.
Please let me know what other details you may need. Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing the domain name, @bobsilverman516!
I noticed that you’re not currently using it with any of your WordPress.com sites.
If you’d like to connect it to a WordPress.com site, you can do so with any of our paid plans. That way, you can use your custom domain as the primary address instead of the default .wordpress.com one. You can check out our plans here:

Regarding the missing content, I wasn’t able to find any recent changes or updates on your two sites.
Could you please confirm which site you were working on when you made those updates?
If you could share a bit more detail about what’s missing—such as the name of a post or any pages you remember creating—that would be a big help in allowing me to take a closer look.

Apologies. Was just informed that we were using namecheap to host not wordpress. Your assistance is appreciated regardless.

You’re very welcome, @bobsilverman516!
No need to worry, I was actually suspecting that, so thanks for letting me know!
Wishing you a great day ahead!
