Published in error
-
I have just accidentally published a blog which should be scheduled for a few days time as it is part of a sequence of blogs which need to appear in the right order. Is there any way I can remove it and schedule it for a publication in a few day’s time?

Hi there!
You can switch the post back to draft. Go to Posts and click the post you want to edit, on the top right corner of the editor you can find the “Switch to draft” button along with the Update and Preview buttons. After you switch it to draft you can then schedule it for the needed publication time.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I have tried that many times and clicking the switch to draft button does nothing at all!

Because the post is already published you can edit it, and change the date on the right, in the post settings.
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to do it.
You can view the at this link: https://d.pr/v/cW0Mf6
This will allow you to display the post in order, and then you can remove the “Please scroll back to find this final entry on haystacks. It was published in error on 25th July!” entry.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
