Published post disappearing and appearing on my blog's homepage

  I recently published a post to my blog and when I went to check on the homepage it was not there at all.

  It was and is still listed as being published when I check the list of posts on my blog.

  A few minutes later it suddenly appeared on the homepage, then a few minutes after that it disappeared, then appeared again a few minutes later. This is all despite it being listed as published on my blog.

  I noticed that when I had initially clicked publish on this particular post for some reason, and this has never happened to me before, on the feedback screen that appears after you publish a post, a 404 error was there where my post should have been, even though I’d just published the post.

  As of now the post does seem to be appearing on my homepage, but I don’t know, it could disappear again at any moment, the way things’ve been going.

  I would like to know what is going on, if it was sent out to followers as usual, if it did appear in the reader as usual, and I would like to have it appear permanently on my homepage in the lineup of latest posts as all my posts have always done before since I started my blog.

  I’ve never had this happen to me on my blog before and I really don’t know what’s going on. This is very strange, a disappearing and appearing post.
