Published Post is not Visible in Category, How do I make it visible?

  I wrote a post and published it “Iceland” under the category “Impressions of a Country” on Dec. 3rd. Today, I could not see it until I put a sticky on it. Why could I not see it under the category tab? The blog is momstaxi1111.wordpress.com

  If you mean the tab in the top menu, that menu item is a page, not a category.

  Thank you, the tab on the top is the page that I was trying to post under. It was there last week, but now it is not visible. After writing the post, and clicking on publish under the heading Impressions of a Country, I cannot find the post anywhere, unless I search on it. What am I doing wrong?

  You’re welcome.

  As I said, what you’re doing wrong is that the tab links to a (static) page instead of a category. You don’t literally post under specific pages, you file your posts under specific categories. See this post of mine for more details:

  You need to go to Appearance > Menus, open and delete the “Impressions” page, add the “Impressions” category from the Categories module, save menu.
