Published post won’t appear on home page

I’ve just published a post and it refuses to appear on the main page, and instead a ‘page not found’ error comes up (although the post is accessible on the date published in the calendar widget/archive). I tried to change the number of posts viewed per page, and it only shows an earlier post and the ones from before that. I tried to publish a new post, and the same thing keeps happening. I also double-checked to make sure settings weren’t private, draft, etc. Things were working fine several hours ago, so I’m not sure what’s gone wrong since then…Is there currently a general problem with viewing published posts on the home page?

Hm, that’s strange. My problem has partly been fixed — the post is showing up now, but the posts appearing in my ‘Recent Posts’ widget still won’t show it…I think maybe the system is slow and unstable at the moment..?

Yes, it probably is slow, I have had an experience where one of my post didnt show in that widget, but it eventually appeared.
And Chewy, I saw your site, but I suggest you change the blog linked to your name because it’s linked to a deleted blog

I was in touch with support earlier, but I think I might do so again if it isn’t fixed in a little while…Thanks for the advice :)

My posts are also not appearing on my main page. However, they do appear if bring up a category page, or if I load the permalink for the post.

My posts also are not appearing when I hit the publish button. I just get the last post I publish. However, the dashboard view does show that the post has published, but it does not appear in the blog even when I refresh the web page or try to post using a different browser (Foxfire or Safari). I even try to post via using the “Update Post” button but it doesn’t work.

It just appeared. I had to go to the blog, and click on the name of the next blog at the bottom and it suddenly popped up.
Looks like there’s a hiccup that does publish the blog(s) but the site only shows the previously posted blog until you go and hit the next blog title.

No joy!
It will come up if I do what I mention above. But it doesn’t stay up. Yesterday’s post “Deliciously Evil” keeps popping up in front but the new post “GRRRRRRRRREAT!” does not show up unless I go to the “evil” post and click on the next title. However, anyone going to my blog gets the older “evil” post.Heck…maybe my “evil” post cursed me!!!!
