Published Posts not Showing Up

I’ve read through the reasons for not finding my posts posted under tags I’ve listed them under. I’ve gone back and made sure to better limit the number of tags. I’m not new, however it has been several years since my last post. Could this be the issue? If not, what is next step? Do I contact support via email to see if they’ve thought my stuff was spam or something?

Same happening to me, but I’m a new blogger, and not sure what address they should be entering to read my blog. Can’t they go directly to it? Using your name?

Yes. The posts we publish appear on the wordpress.com global tagging pages under the Categories and Tags in the order of the date/timestamp they have at the time of first publication. Editing and changing the date will not change that. There are many wordpress.com bloggers publishing every minute on the 24 hours clock, so the Tag pages fill every quickly. In order to find yours you will have to go back many pages deep to locate them by date/timestamp.

Just as an aside: I would suggest that you optimize and reduce the size (file size) of the images you are using. One that I checked is 3.4mb, and if you get too many of those on the main page of the blog, it will take the page a long time to load, and web surfers have a short attention span.
Generally I recommend that images be less than 50k in file size.

Just got my own simple problem resolved with help of support via email, so YES, definitely contact them. They have bailed me out several times, with a very quick response.

I thank you for your responses! Wow! Hey, timethief, is what you are saying true even if I have been posting new posts? I began to re-post new posts on friday…a few days ago and none of these are showing up…
and to thesacredpath: Are you saying that my images are preventing WordPress from being able to post my recent posts? What about podcasts? Are these going to slow things down??
I’m sorry to bother you guys. I just didn’t want to bug support until I was certain I’d done all I can do before so.

No, that is not what I was saying, just that you have quite a number of very large file (file size) on the main page of your blog that slows loading. My comment was an “aside” and not related to the posting issue.
