Published today but post and stats say three days ago
-
Hello Happiness Engineers,
Traffic to my blog has been lagging for the past few weeks. Today I noticed that a post I published manually (not scheduled) this morning had the incorrect date on it — it said it was published three days ago on June 25th. My stats clued me into the problem (telling me it’s been three days since the post was published). This would explain why traffic has been low — my post is betting buried under three days worth of posts in each tag I use.
I just edited the date manually so it shows today’s correct date.
It looks like this has happened with at least one of my other posts, as the publish date and the date I shared the post on social media should be the same but are off by a couple days.
The date and time is set correctly on my computer and in my settings.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I’m following up on this, as I noticed another issue this morning. I started a new post and noticed that in the “Publish” dialog box on the right, the “Schedule” field was auto-filled incorrectly to a date and time that was three hours before starting the post. I think this may be where the issue lies, as this field doesn’t change as I work on the post. So, if three days pass before I complete the post and then publish it, it gives the post the date from three days ago, thereby burying it in readers and tags. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Help, please?
