Publisher Theme – Homepage

    If you look at the Demo for the Publisher Theme you will see a photo with text underneath it that serves as the link to the entire post. I can not figure out how to get it to look like that. If I choose a “featured image”, only the image will show up even if I have something in the Excerpt Box. If I get rid of the Featured Image, the excerpt shows up. I want both the image and an excerpt to show just like it does on the demo. If I choose the “standard” post and add an image directly into the post, it shows up on the post page but not on the homepage. Can you help me, please?
