Publishes 2 articles to facebook

Hi, I know it will be something I have done but whenever I post a new blog, add a photo etc it is somehow automatically sharing this on facebook, which is great except it always adds it as “Peter Goodwin published 2 articles on WordPress” why does it always post 2 articles, which always seems to be the new one I have added, and the previous one? Is there a way to change this please? I like the fact it auto publishes, just want to see where the options are to change what gets published etc. thanks in advance.

1. Do you have more than one Facebook Publicize connection for your site?
2. Are you scheduling your posts, or publishing automatically?
3. Has this always happened to you, or is it a new phenomenon?

Please disconnect/reconnect your Facebook Publicize connection according to these instructions:

Hi, thanks for the quick reply, I’ll try and answer the questions.
1. Don’t think so, how would I check? Only have this blog that publishes automatically to Facebook, otherwise I post to Facebook manually in the normal way.
2. I click on posts, new, once I have entered the content, I click on the publish button. At the moment I am also adding the same content to one of my pages.
3. This has not always done this. I did have a problem, when manually sharing to Facebook it would put old content in, but someone on here sent me a debug link for Facebook that stopped that, but since then I put the auto publicize option on.

Once you’ve disconnect/reconnected your Facebook publicize connection, you can absolutely use the debugger:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
After you do this, and publish your next post, would you please check in with me and let me know how it goes?
On our end, I’ve tested your connection, and regenerated your Publicize option, so everything should work well when it comes to WordPress.com sending your content to Facebook.
If it does another double post on Facebook, please take a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
