    I have been updating my site. Unfortunately it seems that anyone can edit my site. it does not open in ‘reader only’ mode.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there!

    Only the site Administrator/Editor (that’s you) can edit a site. I think you may be thinking anyone can edit your site because you’re seeing an edit link. You see that because you’re logged into your WordPress.com account. The browser recognizes you as the administrator and shows you the option to edit your site.

    If you’d like to view your site as the reader does, you can log out of your WordPress.com account or browse your site on a different browser where you aren’t logged in.
