Publishing a draft

  Hi, I noticed that when I publish a draft, it is published with the date it was created. Why is this? I would like it to be published with the date I publish it not with the date I saved it months ago. Is there a way to make the publish date the default publish date?

  Is there a way to edit my question after posting here? My current blog is notlar1.com, not zeynel1.wordpress.com.

  You can alter the publish date to the date/time that you originally wanted it to be published:

  Thanks. I changed the date and I made it today’s date. But, it doesn’t make sense to me that I have to change the date. The date should be by default the date I publish it not the date ıt was saved initially.
