Publishing a free site

    Hello, I created this website for a class that I am in, and I sent the link to my professor, but he says that he believes it is not published and that he cannot access it. I have tried multiple things to get it to work but it seems that I am having no luck publishing my website so that people can view it. I am also noticing that when I go through certain steps it is not giving me the option to create a free site, only a $5/month or a $15/month option. I was under the impression I could create a free site, but I seem to not be able to figure out how to do that at the moment. Could I please get some information or guidance on what might be going wrong for me?

    Hi there, if you deleted your site in error, you can respond to the email you received from WordPress.com following deletion and request to recover it. This has to be done within 30 days of deletion because after that the site and address are purged from the system and can’t be recovered.

    Once you have recovered your deleted site or registered a new WordPress.com site, when you go to launch your site, type something in the line on the domains screen and then you’ll see your free .wordpress.com address with the Skip Purchase option at the bottom of that page. Then keep following any other free site prompts.
