Publishing a page
-
I did two static page (about don butler, about the blog). Your example shows in the publish unit shows a separate “Save Draft” button in the upper left hand corner and a “Publish” button in the lower left hand corner. I do not have a separate button. I have a button in the lower left hand corner that says “Save Draft” and as soon as I do the button changes to “Publish” but it happens so quickly I cannot hit it. Then it is quickly turns back into “Save Draft.” If I can’t have a simple button that says “Save Draft” and a simple button that says “Publish” like you have in your help section, I would like to have my money back. The button that alternates is the blue one.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Don, and welcome to WordPress.com!
What you are seeing does not sound familiar, and if you are correctly hitting the “Save Draft” button, then the page is being saved as a draft. Here is how it looks when I do it, for example:
You will see that the post status is displayed under the button. Is this how it looks for you?
Also, if you are ever in doubt about the status of your pages, you can go to Pages>All Pages in your admin dashboard. You will see, for example, that the two pages you have created have the word – Draft appended to each.
Let me know if you need assistance or if you have any questions.
