Publishing at more pages
-
Dear Support,
Can you tell or show where I can read the following information:
I created a blog and added a few pages to set the materials in order. However I can only add more text to other pages, while in the main page I can add articles, so readers can cliock the one they want and read it. As far as I can see with new pages situation is like this: I will need to add text at this one page and the readers should scroll all the time of search it.Is it really so or is there a way to add articles to other pages and I simply do not know where to find this info?
Could you please clarify?
Thank you so much!
Best Regards,

Hi there,
Category menus is a fantastic feature which will allow specific blog posts that you choose to appear on your blog and in a location similar to page. Please be aware though that the articles will appear on the main page as well.
You can learn how to configure it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
if you have any issues or questions though, feel free to ask. :)

Hi torres126!
Thank you so much! So it is more about Categories than Pages? And Pages are for static info placed once as one solid text, right?
I am absolutely new to WordPress :) wanted to make sure.
Thanks again!

Hi there,
Yep! The support article for pages sums it up well: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
Pages are static. That means that the information displayed on a page doesn’t change, or doesn’t change often. A great example of a page would be the About or Contact Us section of a website.
In your scenario, creating a category page would allow posts assigned by you to appear in a location similar to a page, yet looks like your normal blog page.
Also, don’t worry about being new, feel free to ask any question and we’ll always try our best to help! :)
Best of luck!
