Publishing draft with current date

  Hi, I prefer to publish a draft with the current date not with the date it was created. Is there a way to change this?

  So, today I published a draft that I started about two months ago and it was published with that date. But I want it to be published with the current date so that it is on top. This makes more sense to me. In fact I don’t understand who would want to publish a draft with an old date.

  (I know that I can change the date. And I changed it. But I think it’s annoying to have to change the date every time I publish a draft.)
