Publishing from Word 2007 – pictures

  I am tryng to post to my blog from Word. I can set uo the account just fine, but I wanted to upload the pictures to my blog. In the Accout setting I changes the picture provider to “My Own Server”. I also put in the following:

  Upload URL
  ftp://logon:(email visible only to moderators and staff)/full/path/to/wp-content/uploads

  Source URL
  http://domain.com/wp-content/uploads

  When I try to publish, I am told Word cannot publish the picture in this post. When I take the ftp address and just put that into a IE path, I am prompted to logon. Even putting my logon and pw in there does not take.

  Am I missing something? Please advise.

  If you are using ftp, they you are in the wrong forum. At wp.COM we don’t have access to that.
