Publishing just the first lines of a post

  Hello all,

  I’ve just started a blog in wordpress.com (ruteando.wordpress.com), all of my posts are published in its full extent. I would like that the blog’s main page show only the first lines of a post… so the reader can see more titles per scrolling.
  I apologize for my English, but it’s not my native tongue.

  Please don’t apologize for your English; it’s perfectly fine.

  The More tag will accomplish what you want to do. You’ll find the instructions at the link below, and do read the section on Formatting Issues because that trips up people (and their posts) otherwise.
