Publishing my changes

    Hello!

    I’ve decided to learn Word Press on my own and make changes on my website without paying my web designer.

    I’m make text changes for my home page. However, when I go online to see my new changes, it reflects the original text. The visibility is set to Public. The status is set to Published. I have hit the Update tab. I previewed the changes and it’s all in place. Do I need to log out of Word press before the changes go through? I also haven’t updated to Word Press 6.0.1, but I don’t think that’s the cause of the issue. If you could please advise I’d really appreciate it.

    Hi Aida! Can you confirm you’re referring to aidawriter.wordpress.com? The site seems a bit older in content and its theme, but it’s running a current version of WordPress because we handle that automatically with our managed hosting.

    I wasn’t able to see other sites on your account with us.

    Is there a chance you meant to ask about your own WordPress.org installation instead? Here’s the difference: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/#overview-of-options
