    Hi there!

I took a look at your site, and first off it looks like you don’t have a proper link for your About page set. The other pages in your menu are linked, but the About page is missing.

Regarding the changes you made, the issue is that you modified the general Page template in the Site Editor. Changing that Page template will affect every page you create under your published pages.

To fix this, you would first need to take the content you set in that Page Template and add it to the Page you have set as Home under Pages -> All Pages. Since that page is already set at your front page, any content you add there will be reflected on your home page.

Then, go into the Page Editor and open your Page template, then click the drop-down at the top center of the page and choose the “clear customizations” option to reset that Page template to the default.

You may want to double-check that your menu is still correct – the clear customizations may affect the header and footer, but typically they should be unaffected.

I hope that clarifies things! Let us know if you still have trouble!

Thank you so much, this worked! My only question now is that my post titles are not showing up on the homepage, only the date and post tag.

  • Hi there, you have done some editing of the Query Loop block on your homepage template? It appears that it’s somehow missing the title.

At this point I typically recommend deleting the entire query loop block, and re-adding it since that is the easiest way to restore all the blocks for things like featured images, post title, etc.

By the way, we have a recent webinar that goes over how to add a custom blog feeds to your site, such as the one you are trying to add to your homepage. With that in mind you may wish to watch the recording here:

You can also sign up for one of our upcoming webinars and get firsthand experience with the WordPress.com tools here and ask questions during our live Q&A: https://wordpress.com/learn/webinars/
