Publishing posts on Facebook – how do I remove a FB account linked?

  My posts seem to be published on two Facebook accounts. I have only one FB account linked to WordPress. How do I remove the other FB link? Thank you.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Go to My Site → Sharing in your dashboard and click Disconnect next to the link to the Facebook profile or page you wish to disconnect.

  Hi Heliodore,
  I’ve already done that and connected the correct Facebook account but my posts continue to be published on two Facebook accounts. How do I disconnect the wrong account?

  Well, that’s surprising.

  Just to make sure, can you please tell me how many Facebook accounts you are able to see in your Connections?

  I can see only one Facebook account on my connections in WordPress but my posts are published on two accounts (my personal FB account and my Author FB account). I’ve disconnected and reconnected, thinking it was connected to the wrong FB account but it continues to post on both FB accounts.

  Thanks but I’ve already done what it says in the video more than once and I see only one Facebook account is connected but in reality my posts are published on two distinct Facebook accounts with diffrent emails, different profiles and different names. There seems to be magical powers behind it :)

  Well, don’t worry there must be a rational answer :)

  Do you happen to automatically share on another social media?
  It could explain the double publication.

  No, I don’t automatically share on another social media. What happened was that I initially connected my personal FB profile in error on WordPress. I immediately disconnected the incorrect FB profile and then connected the correct profile. Since then, my posts are published on both FB profiles. It is very strange because they both appear as they’ve been published individually.
  I’ve also checked that the emails in the two FB profiles are not connected as well as the gmail accounts. There doesn’t seem to be a connection between the two but these are still linked in some way on WordPress. HELP!
