publishing to a page other then home

    Hello all,

    I am trying to publish a blog on an added page from ms word 2007, I can publish fine to the main blog now, but would like to publish to a dedicated page. Does any on know the url syntax for that I would use or if it is even possible to do, I did try using a wordpress.com/newpagename/xmlrpc.php but that didn’t work.

    one more, I have been through the wordpress options at nauseam and I am unable to move a blog entry from one page to another, that would also solve this problem, any one know if it is currently possible.

    First, you may need to understand the differences between a page and a post http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/

    You cannot MOVE and entry from a post to a page. You can copy the post and paste in it a page (write>page) but that’s the only way to do it.

    thanks, thats kind of what I figured I would have to do to move a post from one page to another
