Publishing to Facebook
-
Lately when I’ve published a post and also publish to Facebook through the Post page, it has been creating an album on Facebook and adding the images rather than posting a link to my blog. Can this be fixed either through WordPress or Facebook settings? I’d rather people click on the link to end up at my page rather than just see an image on my timeline. The last time it posted the actual link to my blog post was back in January…has something changed since then?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I’ve never heard of Publicize to Facebook behaving in this way. Are you perhaps creating your post using the Image post format? I don’t know if that changes how the post publishes to Facebook, but it’s the only thing I can think of.
Try disconnecting Facebook (in both WordPress.com and Facebook settings), flushing your Facebook cache, and then reconnecting Facebook. https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services
You flush your Facebook cache by inserting your blog URL here: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

@redvivi
I didn’t post anything today, so I can’t really say if you’re the only one, but looking through the threads started today it doesn’t seem like other people are having problems.I see in this thread (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/publicize-down-today-unable-to-post-on-facebookgoogle?replies=1#post-2300304) that you have a self-hosted site with the Jetpack plugin. Unfortunately this forum can only help with issues on a WordPress.com blog, as instructions for a self-hosted site is completely different and staff here also don’t have access to your blog to check for problems.
Please post in the WordPress.org support forum. You can also try contacting Jetpack support directly. Here are the links: http://wordpress.org/support/

Thanks, sorry for the inconvenience. I wasn’t aware of the differences between WordPress.com/WordPress.org.
