Publisize to Facebook is showing a widget photo and not the photo in my post.

    Hi.
    My blog is http://bookconsumeddiva.wordpress.com/
    The posts go to https://www.facebook.com/BookConsumedDiva

I add images to my posts via the image url from Goodreads because they show up best in my Home page that way. Up until December 8, it was using the correct image. The last three posts have been an image in a widget on my sidebar.

I saw this post about Facebook debug: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/fb-link-has-no-thumbnails?replies=4#post-936861

When I put the links of the posts that used the wrong image, the Facebook debug showed the correct image. Going by the support post I linked above, Facebook will update the image on it’s own? I just want to be sure it isn’t something else I can do on my end.

My posts do have a thumbnail just the wrong one.

    Thank you for your time.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

After looking into your account, I found that you did not set a featured image in your posts. You can do this by editing any of your posts. Once you are in, go to the bottom right hand side of the page, and you can set a Featured Image there. You can find more information here.

Usually this should work; however, please note that we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they search through that for the excerpt and images to include.

No, I did not set a featured image. I never do because I insert via url. It worked fine until just recently. Thanks for the reply though.
