Pulicize Grabbing the wrong image
-
When a post is shared to FB using Publicize, it ALWAYS uses the same old photo from my Instagram feed in the side bar. Not the featured image or any other image in the blog post.
If I share the link manually, the correct image is grabbed so the issue is in Publicize not FB.
Please advise a fix as it is ruining the appearance and sharing of my blog.

Thanks so much for the report! Could you provide a few follow-up details?
1. Is this happening for every post on your site? If not, could you provide the last post this occurred with?
2. When this is happening, are these posts scheduled for a future date or are you publishing them manually?
3. When this happens, do you have a featured image set? For example, on the following post, I don’t see a featured image:

Thanks Jeremy
1 – Yep – every post. Have tried it from different computers and devices and it happens every time that a post is automatically shared from WP. However, if I manually cut and paste the link, the correct image is always grabbed,
2 – Not future dated. All immediately published manually.
3 – I have tried posts both with and without a featured image and it hasn’t changed the result at all. Every time, the same old Instagram image (black and white text quote) is chosen by Publicize.

That’s odd – it should grab the Featured Image for the post. We’re tracking a similar issue. For your next post, can you try to set a featured image that is rather large (800×600 or larger)? Publicize the post to Facebook, and if it grabs the wrong image, take a screenshot of how the post was sent to Facebook? Screenshot instructions can be found here:
Just upload the screenshot to your Media Library here:

The example will be very helpful!
