Pullquote block won't change color/looks different
-
Here is my site: https://thepaperbackdragon2020.wordpress.com/
I have the Gateway theme active, and when I add a pullquote in a new post I can’t change the color of the line. I also don’t know why the pullquote only has one line on the left side when in the editor it shows parallel lines above and below the quote.
Here’s an example of a post with pullquotes throughout – I set the color to blue, but they all show up red. It’s like this in all my posts: https://thepaperbackdragon2020.wordpress.com/2020/09/29/house-of-salt-and-sorrows-by-erin-a-craig-spoiler/

Hi there,
Gateway is an older theme that was launched before we had a “block editor” and while we are able to add support for most blocks, some settings (such as the color settings of the pullquote block) will not show on this theme.
With that said though, You can change the color of the red bar here, under the Colors & Backgrounds tab on the left:
https://wordpress.com/customize/This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to change the theme accent color from red to any other color you wish.
You can view it at this link: https://d.pr/v/ByWfxT
Please note that this color setting will change other accent colors (such as the color of hyperlinks and menu items) blue as well, so this will be a global change to the accent color on your site so everything matches.
Hope this helps!
