  I was looking around to see about a website… It looks like I started a page, but I didn’t finalize a purchase or anything… Was I charged?

  You probably were not charged. However, to confirm, please check if there’s any payments under your Billing History: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  There’s a Free Plan available on WordPress.com, so you could very easily create a site without needing to input payment details.
