    good day, I already had a shared web hosting with Namecheap through my trainer and I do not wish to discard this account of mine. please is it possible for me to just register a domain name with you for this website and host it with my Namecheap?…..pls advise?

    Yes you can add a custom domain to your account here: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/

    Once the domain is under your account, all we will need to know is the settings that Namecheap recommends for connecting outside domains to your account with them. Based on what I found online, it appears they recommend these settings be added on our end:

    • dns1.namecheaphosting.com
    • dns2.namecheaphosting.com
