You can easily request a refund within the first 30 days after purchasing a WordPress.com plan on your Manage Purchases page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
The domain credit offered with WordPress.com plans is however non-refundable. If you use it to register a custom domain name for your site, the domain registration fee will be deducted from any refund.
You can avoid this deduction by not using the domain credit to register a custom domain while you trial your WordPress.com plan.

This is not true. I just want to add that domains can be refunded within 48 hours.
Once 48 hours after using your domain credit passes, that part will be deducted from the refund amount.
Other than that, you can cancel a plan within 30 days and receive a refund.

I just wanted to confirm the domain portion of the plan can be refunded providing the domain is cancelled within 48 hours of registration. There is more information about our refund policy here:
