Purchase Cancellation

  I want to cancel my purchase for a refund (within 30 days) when I submit the cancellation in my account, I received and email request me to click the cancel button and the link brought me to wordpress with the message ‘There was a problem canceling your purchase. Please contact support for more information.’

  and I’m sure why I only got $174 (just received the email) instead of a full refund of $299. though I have registered the domain http://www.vconthai.co which is included in the business plan and will be deducted from the total bill later but the cost of domain registration is $25/year which make it a total of $274 for a full refund?

  Hello,

  I tried to cancel my £85.00 package on Tuesday 9th Feb.

  The link/button attached to my email did not work and took me to an error page.

  Please can somebody contact me at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  That should not have happened and you should have been refunded the correct amount.

  I can get things fixed for you, but I want to clarify something first. It looks like you are attempting to keep the domain registration for vconthai.co so that you could use it with your WordPress.com site (or a site with another webhost)? If you have any intention of using vconthai.co again in the future, I would encourage you to keep the domain registration. Canceling a domain can cause you to lose it and not be able to register it again in the future.

  However, somehow in this process, the domain has been canceled and I would like to try and recover it if keeping it is your goal.

  I just cancelled it in ‘manage purchase’ myself and there’s no need to recover it, so the issue should be just getting the right amount of refund. Thanks.
