Hello, how can I renew my domain purchase and have the site appear as it once was?

What is the domain URL please? Has it expired?
When you allow your domain expire, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.
If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the redemption fee.
Please clarify as I’ve tagged this thread in the sidebar with modlook for Staff attention.
If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

Hi vineyardentertainment,
sunnycamehome2016.com and meettia.com both expired in February this year. It is possible to recover a domain for some weeks after it expired — but due to the length of time that has passed this is no longer possible.
If a domain is not redeemed by the owner or purchased at auction, it is released back into the pool of available domains. I checked both domains today and the good news is, they are currently available! Please register the domain(s) as soon as you can if you want to use them again.

All paid plans include a domain credit which can be used to register a new domains (or map one you already own).
