Hi, I just paid for a domain through WordPress but the URL is still showing up with “.WordPress.com”. How do I change this?

Hey there, it looks like you just bought a name, which can redirect to your free site, or you can point it to any other service. Did you want to add a hosting plan to the site?
If so, the Personal Plan should work nicely. If you want to add that with the Annual payment option, we can also credit you back for the domain purchase, since each annual plan currently comes with a free domain registration.

I added the plan, but my only option appears to be to change my domain to a different one, which I don’t want to do. Will you be crediting my account and also freeing up my domain so I can get it back again for free?
