Purchased a Domain to Practice

    I wanted to learn some basics about website design, but I am not sure how hosting and my html program works together. Must I pay monthly to have a generic webpage, or can i diy using wordpress?

    You’re welcome to create a free site here. We take care of hosting, maintenance, and support:

    The caveat: its features are limited. You can upgrade for more features if you’d like (as that helps us cover our costs.) Plus you’ll get direct support.

    You could also, if you wanted to, buy hosting and install your own free copy of WordPress there. That’s free, but you’ll need to be able to maintain it and get community based support from the correct forums:
