Purchased an Invalid Domain Name through WordPress

    Hello,

    I purchased a domain through wordpress and now a separate company “Tucows” is telling me it is already owned by someone. I purchased puravidacharters.com, but apparently someone already owns that and has since 2008. How can you take my money for something you never had the ability to give me. Please refund my money. I don’t know how else to contact you except through this forum. We will host through a more reputable site. I heard GoDaddy is good.

    It appears that you may have purchased a Domain Mapping Upgrade for a domain that was already registered by someone else.

    For more information about the differences between domain registration, hosting, and mapping, please see our page All About Domains:

    I’ve removed this Upgrade and refunded the associated charge. Please keep in mind that it takes 1-2 weeks for the transaction to show up on your financial statement.
