Purchased Domain not Showing Up

I paid for the upgrade of a new domain last night and got billed for it (through paypal–I have the receipt in my email) however I got the message: DBP validation failed for account 39048530, and when I go to my dashboard to “upgrades” the domain that I paid for isn’t there. How do I get the domain I paid for?

No it’s not a billing issue. I just want to know how I can get the domain so I can use it. What does “DBP validation failed” mean?

I said “Billing issue” because it looks like you got charged for a domain name that, according to a WHOIS registration, is not even registered in the first place.
I would still contact staff if I was you.

I have this problem too and contacted staff (who did credit my account) but need to register my new domain. Quite frustrating.

We Volunteers are sorry to hear users are frustrated but in cases like this we have no role to play. The resolution lies with Staff, who only monitor threads in this forum. As you have already contacted them, please be patient while waiting for them to get back to you. There are millions of WordPress.com users so I assume they have a lengthy queue of support tickets to work their way through.
