Purchased domain redirecting to free domain

    A couple of days ago I purchased the domain fitterfurtherfaster.co.uk however this is just redirecting the the free domain, will this start to show as the domain name or continue to redirect? I have the free WordPress plan.

    It is possible to register standalone domain names, but to change the address of your site you will first need one of our plans here, which include the option to change the address of your site: https://wordpress.com/plans/

    Please note that if you choose the yearly option of any plan (instead of the monthly option a free domain is provided by default. In that event please let us know after you make your purchase and we can refund the cost of your domain registration.
