Purchased Domain Upgrade and Now Can’t Get to Blog
-
I just purchased the domain upgrade and added the new domain as primary as the prompts guided me to do. Now when I try to read the blog, I get the following error:
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://onandoffmyplate.com/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
I tried to revert back to the old domain:
http://mydujour.wordpress.com and still can’t get to the home page. I am lost and not sure what I need to do to fix the errors.
Hopefully someone can help me. I am freaked. I am also a NEWBIE!
Thanks in advance.

As an update this is what my domain settings look like now:
Primary Domain Created Subscription Email / DNS Actions
onandoffmyplate.com January 25, 2011
Expiring
Will stop functioning on January 25, 2012 Edit DNS Renew Cancel Private Whois Enable Auto Renewmydujour.wordpress.com January 4, 2011 Never expires N/A

It will take 24-72 hours for the DNS change to make it to all the name servers on the internet although it typically takes less than 24. There is nothing that can be done about this, it takes as long as it takes.
I see your new domain name and your blog just fine, so the propagation is underway.

Your WordPress.COM site resolves fine for me to: http://onandoffmyplate.com/
It can take 24 to 72 hours for the name to sort across the internet

You may want to link your blog to http://mydujour.wordpress.com as it’s currently linked to the blog you deleted. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog starting and then save changes. -
