purchased redirect to another wordpress.com – followers notified of new posts?

  hi,
  I have recently purchased a redirect from glycolist.wordpress.com to metabolist.wordpress.com. I forgot that I have a few email followers in the old site. Will they be notified now when I post something in the new site? Or do I have to post that I have moved the site, and ask them to subscribe to the new blog?
